The castle chapel

Englar Castle’s St. Sebastian Chapel is a landmark in the Upper Adige landscape, and, atop its small promontory, can be seen from far afield. This beautiful, late-Gothic, low building with a Romanesque-style tower on its north side, stands amidst the vineyards around 100 metres from the castle itself, and is an absolute jewel of magnificently preserved late Gothic architecture.
